Dr. Shikha Thapa Magar, a distinguished expert in Sustainable Agriculture with a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Hebei Agricultural University, serves as the Chief Community Officer at SCOLAR Network. In this role, she has established 15 hubs across nine countries within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization region, providing a platform for youth to address local issues. Dr. Thapa also leads projects with ICIMOD and Practical Action Consulting, focusing on climate-resilient farming, value chains, and disaster management. Her extensive fieldwork spans 14 districts, contributing significantly to project outcomes through Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews.In addition to her practical work, Dr. Thapa is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at HICAST, where she focuses on Sustainable Agriculture. She also serves as a peer reviewer for international journals and is an active committee member at the NRNA Agriculture Committee. Through her dedication to academia and hands-on fieldwork, Dr. Shikha Thapa Magar contributes to advancing sustainable agriculture and bridging the gap between research and practice.
